This study surveyed students at Thang Long University to assess their awareness and behaviors related to the preservation of cultural identity. A quantitative method was employed, combining student surveys with document analysis and statistical data processing. The findings reveal that most students demonstrate positive awareness and clear behaviors in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, such as participating in folk festivals, using standard Vietnamese, and actively introducing Vietnamese culture to international peers. Notably, students perceive national identity not as a barrier to integration but as an essential cultural capital for developing global competence. The study concludes that national identity and global citizenship are not contradictory but mutually supportive, and it recommends integrating identity education into global citizenship programs in higher education.2025-09-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Thang Long Journal of Science: Applied Sciencehttps://science.thanglong.edu.vn/index.php/vola/article/view/255Bước đầu nghiên cứu về cộng đồng gia đình đa văn hóa Việt – Hàn tại Việt Nam: thuận lợi và khó khăn của thế hệ thứ hai trong quá trình hội nhập cộng đồng2025-07-23T08:55:37+00:00Thu Hương NguyễnHuong3182003@gmail.comThị Mai Huyền NgôThị Kiều Trang NguyễnThị Thu Phương CaoThanh Vân NguyễnThị Thanh Trúc NguyễnThị Vân Giang PhanThis study explores the opportunities and challenges faced by the second generation in Vietnamese-Korean multicultural families in Vietnam, amid growing Vietnam-Korea ties and increasing multicultural families. South Korea stands out as a successful example of using culture as a means of diplomacy, with the Korean Wave (Hallyu) playing a key role in spreading the national image. This study focuses on analyzing South Korea's cultural diplomacy strategies, thereby drawing reference lessons for Vietnam. Survey results and document analysis show that South Korea's success lies in the close coordination between the government and the private sector, thereby forming a comprehensive 'ecosystem' to maximize cultural soft power. Based on this reality, this study proposes some orientations for developing cultural diplomacy for Vietnam in the current period, emphasizing the role of each citizen and support policies from the government.2025-09-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Thang Long Journal of Science: Applied Sciencehttps://science.thanglong.edu.vn/index.php/vola/article/view/276Vai trò của Unesco trong thúc đẩy phát triển bền vững tại Việt Nam: đánh giá tác động và định hướng hợp tác đến năm 20302025-08-12T07:49:44+00:00Admin Achuthuphuong88@gmail.comPhương Dung TrầnViệt Nam kế thừa tư cách thành viên Tổ chức Giáo dục, Khoa học và Văn hóa của Liên hợp quốc (UNESCO) từ tháng 7/1976. Using panel data from 10 ASEAN countries over the period 2000 – 2023 and two successive regression, the study confirms that economic integration has a positive effect on the development of the banking sector, and that a more developed banking system significantly supports FDI inflows. The results also indicate that part of the impact of economic integration on FDI is transmitted indirectly through the banking sector, highlighting the importance of financial intermediation as a key channel in the spillover mechanism. The study suggests that in addition to promoting integration, countries should also strengthen their financial institutional capacity, particularly the intermediary function of commercial banks, in order to fully leverage the opportunities brought by international economic agreements and enhance the effectiveness of FDI attraction.2025-09-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Thang Long Journal of Science: Applied Sciencehttps://science.thanglong.edu.vn/index.php/vola/article/view/280KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES TOWARDS THALASSEMIA AMONG NURSING STUDENTS AT THANG LONG UNIVERSITY AND SOME RELATED FACTORS IN 20232025-09-26T05:06:32+00:00Ths Thị Thanh Huyền Tháihuyenttt@thanglong.edu.vnThị Thanh Trà NguyễnDũng VũKhánh Huyền NguyễnThalassemia is a genetic congenital hemolytic disorder that can have severe consequences for patients. A cross-sectional descriptive study design was employed using a random sampling method. Data were collected through KAP interviews using structured questionnaires, entered using Epidata 3.1, and analyzed with SPSS version 20.0. The results showed that the proportions of participants with adequate knowledge, positive attitudes, and appropriate practices were 71,6%, 67,9%, and 62,4%, respectively. Statistically significant associations were found between KAP and factors such as gender, education level, ethnicity, occupation, history of malaria infection, and exposure to malaria-related information. Notably, participants with adequate knowledge were 7,63 times more likely to exhibit a positive attitude (95% CI: 4,47–13,03) and 8,42 times more likely to engage in proper practices (95% CI: 4,98–14,25) compared to those with inadequate knowledge. The findings highlight that improving knowledge about malaria prevention is a key factor in fostering positive attitudes and promoting appropriate preventive behaviors, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of malaria control efforts in the community.2025-09-23T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Thang Long Journal of Science: Applied Sciencehttps://science.thanglong.edu.vn/index.php/vola/article/view/307THE CURRENT SITUATION OF E-CIGARETTE SMOKING AND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE HARMS OF E-CIGARETTES OF STUDENTS OF THANG LONG UNIVERSITY IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-20242025-11-19T10:00:36+00:00sang le ducsangld@thanglong.edu.vnQuỳnh Anh ĐinhThị Thanh Huyền TháiObjectives: (1) Describe the current situation of e-cigarette use among students of Thang Long University in the 2023-2024 school year.
