Thang Long Journal of Science (TLJS) adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics, in compliance with the Ministry of Science and Technology’s regulations and the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1. Plagiarism Policy

  • All submissions are screened using plagiarism-detection software.
  • The similarity index must remain below 20%.
  • TLJS prohibits verbatim copying without citation, improper self-plagiarism, unauthorized use of data or images, and citation manipulation.
  • Manuscripts that violate these rules will be rejected or retracted after publication.

2. Conflict of Interest Policy

  • Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial, academic, professional, or personal relationships that may influence objectivity.
  • If no conflicts exist, authors must state:
    “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
  • Reviewers and editors with conflicts of interest must decline involvement with the manuscript.

3. Funding Transparency

  • Authors must clearly disclose all sources of research funding in the manuscript.
  • Funders must not influence research design, data analysis, manuscript preparation, or publication decisions.
