Publication process and fee
The Thang Long Journal of Science adopts an international-standard publication workflow aligned with the regulations of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam. The publication process comprises five main stages:
1. Submission & Initial Screening
- Manuscripts are submitted via the online system or the email of each sub-journal.
- The editorial office conducts an initial check for scope, formatting, and plagiarism using dedicated software.
2. Double-Blind Peer Review
- At least two independent reviewers are invited for each manuscript.
- Reviewers assess originality, academic value, methodology, results, and referencing quality.
- Editorial decisions include: accept, minor revision – no resubmission to reviewers, major revision – resubmission to reviewers, or rejection.
3. Editorial Decision
- The Editor Managing of each sub-journal and Editor-in-Chief evaluates the reviewers’ recommendations and the revised manuscript to make the final decision.
- Authors receive the decision and comments via official email.
4. Copyediting & Typesetting
- Language and content editing are performed to ensure clarity and academic rigor.
- Figures, tables, formulas, and citations are standardized.
- Authors review and approve the final galley proof.
5. Publication
- TLJS publishes in both print and online formats.
- Each article includes dates of submission, revision and acceptance.
- Articles are archived on the official TLJS website and partner databases.
Policies on submission fee:
- No submission fee.
- No article processing charge (APC).
