Abstract
This study explores the opportunities and challenges faced by the second generation in Vietnamese-Korean multicultural families in Vietnam, amid growing Vietnam-Korea ties and increasing multicultural families. Its urgency lies in supporting hybrid youth – cultural bridges between the two nations, facing challenges in language, identity, and social integration. The aim is to analyze factors affecting their adaptation. Methods include surveys, document analysis, and comparisons with multicultural families in Korea. Findings highlight bilingual and cultural advantages but reveal barriers in communication, social stigma, and education. The study proposes solutions and recommendations to address these challenges, emphasizing the youth’s role as cultural connectors, fostering a diverse, inclusive society.
