Abstract

Objective: To describe the knowledge and practices of oral care of students in grades 4 and 5 at Nguyen Du Primary School, Ha Dong, Hanoi in 2025. Methods: This was a cross-sectional descriptive study conducted on 100 students in grades 4 and 5using questionnaires about their knowledge and practices regarding oral hygiene. Descriptive analysis and evaluation according to the criteria of achievement/failure. Results: The rate of achieving correct knowledge on oral care is 43.0%, only 23.0% meet the practice requirements. Conclusion: The rate of students achieving correct knowledge and practice is still low. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen communication and coordination between schools - school health - parents to help students improve their knowledge and practice of oral care.
