SITUATION OF PAIN OF PATIENTS ON THE FIRST THREE DAYS AFTER LOWER EXTREMITIES SURGERY AT VIET DUC HOSPITAL YEAR 2022

Abstract
Objectives: To describe the pain status of in-patients after lower extremities surgery at the lower extremities surgery Department Lower limb Surgery Department - Viet Duc Universiti Friendship Hospital in 2022. Method: A prospective study was conducted among 120 patients, conveniently selected. The research tool is a set of research questions to assess pain according to the VAS scale after surgery 24h, 48h, 72h. Results: the average pain level after surgery at the time of evaluation day 1, day 2, day 3 was 4.1 ± 1.5, respectively; 3.4 ± 1.4 and 2.4 ± 1.2. In which, the average pain level at the time of assessment on the first day had the highest score and gradually decreased in the following days. Conclusion: During the first three days after surgery, the patient's pain level gradually decreased. The pain was most severe on the first day, subsided on the second day, and less painful on the third day after surgery.
