Abstract

Objective: To assess the level of employee engagement among healthcare workers at Binh Duong General Hospital in 2025. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted from October 2024 to March 2025 among 299 healthcare workers currently employed at the hospital. Results: The overall employee engagement rate was 65.9%. The mean scores of engagement dimensions ranged from 3.96 to 4.11 on a 5-point Likert scale. The highest mean score was observed in the “effort and dedication” dimension (4.11 ± 0.66), followed by “loyalty” (4.0 ± 0.72) and “organizational pride” (3.96 ± 0.75). The findings indicate that most employees are willing to exert effort for the organization, intend to remain with the hospital long-term, and feel proud to be members of the institution. Conclusion: The level of employee engagement among healthcare workers at Binh Duong General Hospital in 2025 was relatively high; however, there remains room for improvement, particularly in enhancing organizational pride and long-term commitment. The study findings provide an important basis for developing appropriate policies to strengthen work motivation and promote sustainable human resource development.
