SỰ TRUYỀN BÁ VÀ CẢI BIÊN TRUYỆN NHỊ ĐỘ MAI TẠI VIỆT NAM

Abstract

The Chinese novel “Zhongxiao Jieyi Erdu Mei” is not well-known in China, but after it was adapted into a local opera, it was warmly welcomed by the general public and blossomed everywhere. After “Zhongxiao Jieyi Erdu Mei” spread to Vietnam, it was adapted into Nom's “Nhị độ mai diễn ca”, “Nhị độ mai tinh tuyển” and “Cải dịch Nhị độ mai truyện” by Vietnamese literati, and also adapted into traditional Operas such as the opera “The Second Plum Blossom” and the satirical drama “The Second Plum Blossom” are also widely loved by the Vietnamese people, and even has become one of the textbooks in elementary schools, which shows the degree of influence. This article analyzes the differences between the content of Nhi Do Mai in China and in Vietnam, thereby discussing the process of receiving, disseminating and adapting classical Chinese novels in Vietnam, in order to further highlight the value of the work “Nhi Do Mai”.
