SOME DISCUSSION ON KEEPING THE PURITY OF VIETNAMESE LANGUAGE (THROUGH A SURVEY OF LEXICAL VARIATIONS ON CURRENT E-NEWSPAPERS)

Abstract
Together with variations of phonology and sentences, lexical variations are also a
linguistic phenomenon that prompts further research, particularly those in Vietnamese language. This article aims to preserve the purity of the Vietnamese language by surveying the current situation of using Vietnamese lexical variations on e-newspapers and
provides some recommendations for journalists to improve their ability of using written language.
