THE SITUATION AND ASSESSMENT SCALES OF PARENTAL BURN-OUT DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about severe consequences all over the world in different aspects of life, including the economy, society, and families. The lives of millions of families have been negatively influenced. Due to the impact of Covid-19 pandemic,
schools are closed, parents have to work and be responsible for taking care of and educating children. This leads to parental burnout. However, studies related to parental burn-out during Covid -19 pandemic are still limited. Therefore, this paper, by collecting and reviewing documents, aims to analyze the current situation related to parental burnout in some countries, including Italy, Portugal, Iran, and Malaysia. The introduction and comparison of parental burn-out assessments are also discussed in the paper.
